Make Music Day Celebration at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh!

Join us as we celebrate Make Music Da Paint along to live music performed by James Gourlay, Artistic and General Director of River City Brass, in the Art Studio from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. We’re going to Bash the Trash and use recycled materials in the Make Shop from 1:00-2:00pm to build our own instruments… think boxed guitars, four-in-one cans, and anything your imagination can dream up! Then stick around for a collaborative community concert at 2:00 PM, where we’ll all come together and make music with what we’ve created. Make instruments from gourds at Petra Floyd's Sankofa Sounds program in Tech Lab from 2:00 - 5:00 PM (or while materials last). This program is free with museum admission. 🎵 Led by: Members of the SRU Early Childhood and Elementary Come build, play, and make some noise with us!
